Who we are
Our Town Almanac (ourtownalmanac.com), including The Fayetteville Almanac, The Pulaski Almanac, The Lynchburg Almanac, is operated by SK Products, LLC. Contact: hello@ourtownalmanac.com.
What this site collects
Only what you type into a form and send. There are no accounts, no cookies, no analytics or tracking scripts, no ads, and no third-party code. The site is plain pages served by our web host, which, like any host, may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, page requested and time) for security and operations.
The forms
The claim, add-a-business, advertising, “bring it to your town” and newsletter forms are processed by Web3Forms, a form service: when you press the button, what you typed goes to Web3Forms, which emails it to us. Web3Forms handles it under its own privacy policy. We use what you send only to answer you, to update the directory and, if you sign up for the newsletter, to email you the newsletter (every issue will have a way to unsubscribe). We don’t sell or share it. Prefer not to use a form? Email hello@ourtownalmanac.com directly.
Business listings
Directory listings are compiled from public sources (chamber of commerce pages, business profiles, maps and similar public listings), and each listing names its source. Home-based businesses are shown by town only, never by home street address. Any business can claim, correct or remove its listing for free, or email us.
Links to other sites
Listings link to business websites, Facebook pages and sources. Those sites have their own privacy practices.
