Lincoln County Century Farms
Some of the longest-running work in the county happens on farms. Tennessee’s Century Farms program recognizes farms that have stayed in the same family for 100 years or more. Lincoln County has 55 of them. The oldest dates to 1808; 33 were founded before 1900 and 16 before 1850.
See every Lincoln County farm, with its founding year, on the official Tennessee Century Farms list for Lincoln County. (Source: Tennessee Century Farms Program, checked October 26, 2026.)
How this list is made
- Every year comes from a public source we checked: the business’s own website, a local news story, Fayetteville Main Street, the City of Fayetteville, or a bank’s own annual report. The source is linked on each card.
- Order is by year only, oldest first. Every card has the same parts. Nobody pays to be on this list.
- “Here since” marks a branch office: the year that office opened, not the year the parent company began. A parent company’s or brand’s date is never shown as a local business’s date.
- A state filing date alone doesn’t count; it isn’t always the year a business opened. Wording like “over 25 years” is never turned into a year.
- Businesses only, plus banks, newspapers and funeral homes. Businesses we couldn’t confirm aren’t shown until a source settles it.
- Checked October 21, 2026. Spot a mistake? Claim or correct a listing.
