Photos Wanted: Shelbyville
Help us show off Shelbyville. We’re looking for photos of the town’s highlights: landmarks, parks, old buildings, festivals and everyday moments, plus old photos for “Then & Now.” 5 of these 10 we don’t have yet.
How to send a photo
Email it to hello@ourtownalmanac.com with the town and the item in the subject (for example “Shelbyville – Bedford County Courthouse and the square”). In the email, tell us:
- your name as you’d like it credited,
- where and when you took it.
Full-size photos straight from your phone or camera are best. There’s no upload form; email is all it takes.
By sending a photo you confirm you took it (or have the owner’s OK) and give Our Town Almanac permission to use it on the website, newsletter and our Facebook page with credit to you. You keep your copyright. Don’t send photos of people who haven’t agreed, and no photos of children without a parent’s OK.
Old photos: Loaned photos stay yours; tell us who took it if known. Scans or a phone photo of the print are fine.
